Evidence-based holistic treatments that help relieve physical discomforts and ease worries
Being a midwife, every one of the therapies provided works alongside your standard/traditional maternity care. They are evidence-based holistic treatments that help relieve physical discomforts and ease worries and allow you to really enjoy your pregnancy.
Using the nurturing power of complementary therapies to enhance your pregnancy, labour and in the postnatal period allows you to feel empowered, supported and listened to. These treatments really work and I have seen the difference they can make and are a very special way of treating yourself with kindness and respect.
In addition, you'll have time with me, a registered midwife during the treatment to ask any questions, chat through worries or just relax knowing that together we are holding the birth space sacred.
Based in Christchurch, Dorset, I specialise in pre and post natal therapies including Aromatherapy, Moxibustion, Massage and Reflex Zone Therapy (a clinical form of reflexology). I have a lovely treatment room where you can really relax and switch off, alternatively, I work from Sustudio in Canford Cliffs on a thursday morning.
I am proud to be a midwife and whilst you enjoy your chosen treatment, you'll find I share little golden nuggets of midwifery know-how in a fun, approachable, and non-stuffy way. This means you can take in the information you need to make better decisions for you and your baby.
